What this site collects

Effective August 15, 2026

The short version: nothing. This website is a static marketing and documentation site. It has no accounts, no login, no forms, no comments, and no tracking. It does not set cookies and does not run analytics.

Information we don't collect

We do not collect personal information. There is no sign-up, no newsletter, no contact form, and no payment processing on this site. Browsing the site does not create a profile, a cookie, or a fingerprint.

What a web server unavoidably sees

Like any site, this one is served by hosting infrastructure that may log standard request metadata — an IP address, a user agent, the requested page, and a timestamp — for the ordinary operational purposes of serving and protecting the site (diagnostics, abuse prevention, and so on). We do not merge these logs with any other data, and we do not sell or share them.

Third-party resources

This page loads the display fonts (Fraunces, Public Sans, IBM Plex Mono) from Google Fonts. Loading those assets sends a request to Google's servers, which is governed by Google's privacy policy. Everything else is served from this site itself.

Links to other sites

The site links to the Quantgress source code on GitHub and to the primary government sources the project scrapes — SEC, Senate, House, FEC, FINRA, USPTO, USAspending, and others. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we don't control them and this policy doesn't apply to them.

The Quantgress software itself

Quantgress is self-hosted software. When you run it yourself, the scraped data lives in a database on your own machine, and any data handling is governed by your own infrastructure and your own policies — not this site's.

Changes to this policy

If this site ever changes in a way that starts collecting data, this policy will be updated first. Any material change will be noted in the site's commit history, which is public.
